I do miss her screams, however now she's got kids maybe she's had enough of screaming.

#TNA Lzzy Halestorm

Halestorm hail [sic] from and were formed by siblings Elizabeth 'Lzzy' Arejay Hale having written songs  since 1997 an originally had their father playing bass. Surprisingly they have only released one eponymous studio album back in 2009 despite several EP's. Firmly in the hard rock sphere as shown by 2011's  ReAniMate:The CoVeRs eP, which covered [sic] Skid Row's 'Slave to the Grind', Guns N' Roses 'Out ta Get Me' and Lady Gaga's hard rock/metal classic 'Bad Romance.

TNA#9 Redux: Maria Brink In This Moment

MILF*: Maria Brink in tasteful picture shocker

Maria Brink is the lead singer of North Hollywood Metalcore rockers In This Moment. I did feature her in TNA#9 but no one bothered to look. Learning well from my Jill Janus post I have added some tasteful (ahem) pictures for your delectation after the jump. Before I am accused of sexism or using sex to up my website hits (okay I readily admit to the last one but men rarely get bored of breasts) listen to Maria herself:

She also runs a subscription website to milf milk the money from dedicated fans, however before you get ideas thinking there is some Jill Janus style action, she has an adult son so won't go too far. As she said

Sweden. A good reason why the people of the Bastard Isles should not hate the land of Europe. They may threaten the final countdown and are probably plotting to take over the world if the gossip I hear at the volcano café is correct but...They are also home* of My Darling Dismay and have asbestos for bladders. I have seen Sweden with my bare eyes. If I visit I may go blind.

TNA#11 Flyleaf are Sick

Texan's Flyleaf are fronted by Lacey Sturm who sounds a bit like Avril Lavigne in the first track until she screams. Whereas Avril went into pop rock hell, Flyleaf understood the Mystical Lines of Power. I hope Lacey screams more.

The Agonist hail from Canada which according to South Park would mean nothing good can come from there. After hearing and watching lead singer Alissa White-Gluz I disagree. Watching the videos it's hard to believe she can fry her vocals so well. As one YouTube commenter put it:

 "I have two choices to make, to fap or to headbang..."

Rocks Darkest Days TNA#6 Nightwish

Bye Bye Beautiful has had close to 34 million views at the time of posting, I wonder if this is because of the female contingent in the video, because I've read that heavy metal fans will listen to "anything with a vagina". Or maybe because this ab-so-fucking-lutely rocks as shown by the second video, Amaranth, which has an astounding 52 million views!!

In the video for "Bye Bye Beautiful", the four male members of the band are replaced by four female models throughout the verses. Despite speculation, Holopainen said in a Finnish interview that the female doubles in this video have nothing to do with the removal of Tarja Turunen from Nightwish, saying "It's just pure self-irony and rock 'n' roll". The four models are referring to the rumor going around the fans that Anette Olzon, the new singer, was chosen to attract more fans because of her looks. In the video, they make fun of the rumor.
