This Wicked Tongue

The latest wave of Rock from these Bastard Isles
A thick seam of Iron and coal lies underneath their feet. It was plundered to fuel Britain into the Industrial Age. Despite the decades that have passed the ghost of the Black Country still walks the land thanks to a massive dose of Black Slabbath. Okay I may be over cooking things but this is one band that you must catch live.
Plenty of downloads and tracks to check out from This Wicked Tongue after the

Fools For Rowan Dead

No one ever said you had to listen to the music here. As Shaman we appreciate quiet reflection. How can you not admire a girl who wears an AC/DC shirt. Download the CD for nothing - and legitimately here.

TNA#4 Jill Janus and Huntress

Normally pictures like these are used for promotional work by Metal bands, reminding me very much of Spinal Tap's 'sexy' classic Smell the Glove (below right).
Spinal Tap: Smell the Glove
"You should have seen the cover they wanted to do.
It wasn't a glove, believe me!"

However, Jill Janus is the lead singer of Huntress and has an almighty pair of lungs. Although you may at first be distracted by the video (after the jump) her blood curdling scream at the beginning sets the Metal scene
Jill Janus is an operatic banshee with an unparalleled four-octave range and lust for the occult...she toured Europe as a teenage opera starlet. Upon her return to the States...the universe spread her legs and delivered Huntress to Janus, combining former members of Professor, Skeletonwitch and Dark Black [Facebook]
Jill as DJ Tuesdae in her former occupation
This Playboy Model is not afraid of using her assets and the band are using sex to sell as drummer Sean explained to MetalSucks back in April:
“a mega hottie, Julliard grad, has opera pipes, and whips her huge titties out wherever we go. shes a Playboy playmate, who LOVES metal.”
And that's the thing. She has got one hell of a voice. It's hard to criticise when you eyes are popping out of your head, but dammit Angus gets his arse cheeks out. We'll be seeing a lot more of Jill (Penelope Tuesdae).
The blinding video for 'Eight of Swords' and 'tasteful' pictures from the band's own website after the jump. The album 'Spell Eater' is due in the Spring. One to watch - literally.

This is what happens when Maiden met Frankie goes to Hollywood. Very, very tastefully done and the addition of Ian McKellen reciting Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner speech shows that Wax Audio is a genius.
